Mississippi Lime Company announced that Blake Dell has been promoted to Director of Business Planning and Development.
Mississippi Lime has a rich history of growth in the lime and industrial minerals markets, including several acquisitions and geographical expansions. In this role, Blake will help lead strategic growth initiatives in the form of acquisitions, greenfield investments and international market development. In addition to these responsibilities, he will provide strategic management oversight for the company’s Prairie du Rocher, IL facility and Breen Energy Solutions, one of HBM Holding company’s portfolio businesses based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Blake joined the company in 2010 and most recently worked as Product Manager – Quicklime within the sales and marketing group. Prior to that he worked in corporate development for Mississippi Lime’s parent company HBM Holdings and previously held roles with a middle-market private equity fund focused on manufacturing businesses. Blake holds a B.S.B.A in Finance from the University of Kansas and a M.B.A. from Saint Louis University. He was named to the 2017 class of “40 under 40” by the St. Louis Business Journal, and will be honored in February.
