AkzoNobel has welcomed Jeff Jirak as the company’s new Surface Chemistry General Manager for the Americas.
Jirak comes to AkzoNobel from the DuPont spin-off Chemours, where he most recently served as Vice President, General Manager of Fluoroproducts Diversified Technologies, leading a $450 million portfolio of five global busineses.
Prior to Chemours, Jirak spent 23 years in multiple business segments of DuPont, spanning a wide range of roles in manufacturing technology, operations leadership, supply chain management, sales and marketing, product and brand management, and business strategy.
