Axalta Coating Systems will partner with Windsor Windows & Doors, a Woodgrain Millwork Company, to feature Windsor as the primary sponsor on the hood of JR Motorsports’ No. 9 Axalta Chevrolet race car driven by William Byron at Iowa Speedway on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
Windsor, a leading brand of residential windows and patio doors, has built a reputation of quality and value among architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners. The Woodgrain Millwork Company recently announced plans to build a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Norwalk, Iowa. The 160,000 square-foot facility will house the production of windows and patio doors. Construction will begin in July 2017.
“Windsor exemplifies commitment to growth and innovation while maintaining exceptional quality,” said Michael Cash, Axalta Senior Vice President and President of Industrial Coatings. “Axalta is proud to partner with such a winning organization and is excited to see Windsor proudly displayed on the No. 9 car on the track at Iowa Speedway.”
“We view Axalta as an innovative leader in powder paint manufacturing and application. Axalta’s expertise is displayed in its manufacturing, service, and concern for the end-consumer,” said Richard Stephens, Windsor’s Chief Operating Officer. “Windsor is very pleased to partner with a world-wide industry leader in coating technology.”
The No. 9 Axalta Chevrolet will also feature Axalta’s 2017 Automotive Color of the Year, Gallant Gray. Blue and silver flakes that produce a unique sparkle effect combine with rich undertones to add sophistication to the luxurious coating. Gallant Gray is designed to look spectacular on any size vehicle, and will be especially eye-catching on the track at Iowa Speedway.
