Addipel, a manufacturer of custom blends, 100 percent active non-dust blends, and repackaging, said it achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification from Management Certification of North America (MCNA).
Addipel, a Maroon Group LLC company, said it received this recognition for its manufacturing facility in Avon Lake, Ohio.
MCNA determined that Addipel’s quality management system meets customer requirements, and its employees demonstrate a clear commitment to the success and sustainability of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standard, according to Jami Knoth, marketing manager, the Maroon Group.
The standards are documented by ISO and provide requirements, specifications, guidelines, or characteristics that can be used consistently to ensure that materials, products, processes, and services are fit for their purpose, Knoth said.
“Addipel was founded to provide customized solutions to our clients and has grown to become a trusted partner with a focus on safety, quality, and service,” said Jake Reichard, Addipel’s general manager. “ISO certification solidifies the commitment that Addipel and Maroon Group are making to support the needs of our customers.”
