Axalta Coating Systems said it will attend the Mack and Volvo Trucks UPTIME dealer training event at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Fla. on Sept. 28-29, 2017. Axalta experts will provide attendees with valuable information about the company’s Imron Elite product technology, superior color match, and process review and consulting services that are available to Mack and Volvo dealerships. Jeff Gordon, Axalta’s global business advisor and former NASCAR champion, is scheduled to visit Axalta’s booth (102) on Sept. 28 at 7:00 p.m. “Axalta values its long-term partnership with Mack and Volvo Trucks,” said Phil Henriques, Axalta strategic account director, Volvo Group. “In addition to providing our high-performance coatings, Axalta experts evaluate productivity and perform process reviews for Mack and Volvo dealerships to maximize efficiency during the coating application process.” “We are thrilled to have Axalta in attendance to meet with our dealer network members,” added Ryan Saba, product manager, Aftermarket, Volvo Group N.A. As the supplier of Imron coatings used in Mack and Volvo Trucks’ OEM production in North America for over a decade, Axalta also supplies its Imron Elite coatings for aftermarket repair and maintenance of commercial vehicles. Available in more than 18,000 solid, metallic, and pearlescent colors for superior color match, Imron Elite is designed with cross-linking technology to provide quality finishes and super durability to commercial vehicle OEMs. The UPTIME trade fair is held during the Mack and Volvo North American dealer network annual meeting. Since commercial vehicle downtime can be very costly, the week-long meeting focuses on how to minimize downtime, thus driving uptime, and maintaining the high quality of dealer service facilities to effectively and efficiently address the repair of fleet vehicles.
