Oxiteno Presents New Solutions at ABRAFATI 2017

Oxiteno, a leader in the production of surfactants, participates in ABRAFATI 2017 with launches for the Additives, Emulsifiers and Oxygenated Solvents platforms, and lectures given by the company’s experts. At the event, which takes place October 3-5, the company will host the fair participants at its booth to present its news and other featured products related to Building Blocks, Coalescents and Oxygenated Solvents platforms.

During the event, Oxiteno will launch the OXITIVE® line, belonging to the Additives platform and composed of five products. Comprised of nonylphenol-free surfactants, with a wide range of HLB, the additives platform is composed of versatile solutions that are suitable both water-based and solvent-based formulations, seeking to improve the performance of paints during their production and application.

Another highlight will be the launch of the OXIMULSION® 9000 line, made up of APE free surfactants, ideal for promoting the emulsification of alkyd resins using low-rotation equipment and generating an oil-in-water emulsion with small particle size, colloidal stability and high solids. During the event, the company will also share more details about other lines within the Emulsifiers platform, such as OXIMULSION® B1000 and OXIMULSION® 2780.

This year, Oxiteno also brings a great innovation in the oxygenated solvents platform, a new generation of molecules derived from propanol with an HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) friendly concept. Because it is HSE-friendly, the new generation of oxygenated solvents also enables the formulator to obtain paints and coatings with low toxicity, especially with low impact in the classification and labeling according to the GHS (Globally Harmonized System), besides offering high performance and excellent competitiveness. The new line of oxygenated solvents, ULTRASOLVE® H, are made up of products with different chemical functions and varying evaporation rates, which makes it possible to serve different segments, such as automotive, industrial paints, wood, and printing inks.

In addition to the new product launches, Oxiteno will also participate in the ABRAFATI Congress, which takes place in parallel to the exhibition. Company experts from the company will conduct presentations to share the company’s experience in the industry and stimulate the exchange of knowledge.
