Arkema will be showcasing its unique line of additives for PVC products at VinylTec 2017 held in the Marriot Plaza San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas, Oct 10-12. VinylTec is an annual conference organized and sponsored by The Society of Plastics Engineers. Arkema will be presenting both research and discussing products at table top area # 19.
Arkema will focus on the following product lines at VinylTec 2017:
Durastrength® Impact Modifiers, offering extreme weatherability and heat stability, as well as increased impact strength across a range of temperatures. They perform well in applications such as piping, where impact strength across a range of temperature is important.
Plastistrength® Processing Aids, providing enhanced formulation metal release properties in extrusion and calendaring applications. They also promote fusion and improve melt strength, while eliminating surface defects and decreasing plate out. They deliver improved cost performance versus traditional lubricant packages.
“Arkema works closely with customers in the PVC market to develop product grades and new technology that directly meet their needs,” Michael Wurst, North American market manager for Arkema Coating Resins Plastics Additives, explained. Arkema Coating Resins, explained. “We look forward to the year’s VinylTec conference, where we can discuss how we can better help them improve their products.
