BASF Donates $190,000 for Hurricane Harvey Relief in Port Arthur and Beaumont

The Port Arthur and Beaumont communities are benefitting from a portion of $500,000 BASF is donating to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Texas.

Three Golden Triangle organizations will receive $190,000 to aid with critical needs as the Port Arthur and Beaumont communities recover.  The United Way of Mid & South Jefferson County and the United Way of Beaumont & North Jefferson County will each receive $82,500 and the Southeast Texas Food Bank will receive $25,000.

To date, BASF employees from Port Arthur and Beaumont have volunteered more than 1,800 hours to assist co-workers, contractors and neighbors who were impacted by the storm.  Adding to these efforts, BASF employees donated cleaning and household supplies to the City of Port Arthur and various non-profit organizations in the region.
