TOTAL Cray Valley’s researchers Steven Henning and Megan Casey will present two technical papers at this year’s International Elastomer Conference.
Henning will deliver his presentation, “The Spectrum of Ionic Crosslinking with Zinc-based Monomers,” in Session A at 1 p.m. on Oct. 9. He will discuss the application of zinc-based ionic crosslinks to polymer systems across the wide spectrum of potential crosslink densities and their associated structures and properties.
Dr. Casey will present, “The Compatibility of Pure Monomer Resins with Tire Tread Elastomers,” in Session A at 9 a.m. on Oct. 10. She will discuss the effects of the molecular weight of pure monomer resin additives in styrene-butadiene rubber on compatibility and performance in tire tread compounds.
The 2018 International Elastomer Conference, 194th Technical Meeting, ACS Rubber Division will take place Oct. 9-11 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, KY. The event provides a forum for the science, technology, and business of elastomers.
