The Color Pigments Manufacturers Association is hosting a free webinar on the risk assessment of chemicals under the amended Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and the impact on the color pigments supply chain.

In November, the EPA published the draft risk evaluation for Pigment Violet 29, as one of the first ten chemicals being evaluated under amended TSCA. In addition, EPA has announced it will consider selecting the next round of chemicals for prioritization from the 73 chemicals remaining on the 2014 TSCA Work Plan, including C.I. Pigment Red 52, C.I. Pigment Yellow 65 and C.I. Pigment Yellow 83. Tune into CPMA’s webinar to learn more about the regulatory process and impact on your company.

In this webinar, CPMA will provide an overview of key topics, including:

  • Lessons learned from the first ten TSCA risk evaluations (PV29);
  • TSCA prioritization process and pigment candidates (PR52, PY65, PY83);
  • TSCA regulatory timelines, industry requirements and fees
The Dec. 19 webinar, which runs from 2-3 p.m., is aimed at those in regulatory affairs, EHS&S, product stewardship, procurement, sales, marketing, and company representatives interested in learning about the TSCA chemicals risk assessment process.
