The Eastern Coatings Show will be offering a Short Course on the Fundamentals of Coatings.
The purpose of this course is to provide an entry-level coatings chemist an understanding of the basic principles of coatings use, design, formulation and manufacture.
The course will discuss the fundamentals of ingredients used in coatings manufacturing, i.e., polymers, pigments, additives and solvents.
The course is designed for technical and non-technical people who would like an introduction to the coatings industry or for anyone looking to understand coatings and raw material technology.
The course is administered by the University of Southern Mississippi.
It will take place prior to the start of the Eastern Coatings show from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2019.
This course is free with a full conference pass or $50 for those without a full conference pass.
