In celebration of BASF Canada’s 65th anniversary, nominations are open for elementary schools in locations across Canada to win a BASF Kids’ Lab chemistry workshop in grade 5 and 6 classrooms. Selected nominees will also get to host an Earth Rangers School Assembly featuring live animals for the entire school. If chosen, schools will host each of these programs in the Fall during the 2019-2020 school year. Official Rules and Regulations of this contest can be found here.

Earth Rangers School Assembly Program is a dynamic, fun and interactive presentation for students in Grades 1-6. The program uses science-based information to educate children about the importance of protecting biodiversity while highlighting different conservation initiatives across Canada. Throughout the Assembly, students are introduced to four of the Earth Rangers Animal Ambassadors, including animals like Kateri the Peregrine Falcon, Gizmo the Eurasian Eagle Owl, and Quillow the Prehensile-tailed Porcupine.
