Thomas Kim joined the sales team at Advanced Polymer Coatings (APC) as marine sales manager, Korea, the company announced.
He will be responsible for MarineLINE cargo tank coating sales for newbuilding ships and for maintenance and coatings repair of tankers already coated with MarineLINE.
“Thomas Kim will be a strong advocate for the MarineLINE coating system as he develops business relationships at all levels of our various client organizations. His strong technical coatings background will be a great asset for APC’s clients," said Captain Onur Yildirim, APC’s global marine manager.
Prior to joining APC, Kim was technical manager of Protective Coatings, SIKA Korea; sales manager of Marine & Offshore, PPG Protective & Marine Coatings; technical sales & marketing manager, Asia Pacific Marine & Offshore, PPG Protective & Marine Coatings; R&D team leader, PPG Protective & Marine Coatings; and production engineer, Samsung Fine Chemicals.
