Irish designer paint collection to be carried in select Dunn-Edwards locations starting this fall.

Dunn-Edwards announced the addition of Curator, an Irish designer paint collection produced by General Paints Group, to its suite of products. Inspired by the works of 29 Irish artists and designers, Curator’s 144-color collection is a blend of ultra-premium quality paint and colors infused with native Irish art and design. “Curator is a strong complement to the Dunn-Edwards brand,” said Tim Bosveld, VP of marketing for Dunn-Edwards. “The demand for unique, artisan products and colors inspired by European history and legacy continues to grow in the marketplace. With Curator, we now have a line with an authentic connection to Irish heritage and design that will appeal directly to this customer.” The collection launched on the East Coast earlier this year and will now expand its presence to the West Coast. Curator will be carried in 10 Dunn-Edwards Paints locations, including nine in California: Agoura Hills, Canoga Park, Costa Mesa, Culver City, Del Mar, Laguna Hills, Palm Springs, Pasadena and Santa Monica. The Dunn-Edwards Paints location in Scottsdale, Arizona, will also offer Curator. “We are thrilled to introduce Southern California to our premium paint collection, Curator, that is not only premium in quality but also comprises of colors that are literally inspired by Irish heritage and design,” said Kevin O’Connor, managing director of General Paints Group. “Our collaboration with the 29 designers, artisans and craftsmen was instrumental in shaping the color palette that puts Ireland in every can of our paint. Our hope is to inspire U.S. interior designers, homeowners and style aficionados, and to ultimately help their rooms tell a story.” Curator will be available in four unique finishes at launch, including Enhanced Matt, a luxurious soft-touch interior wall finish which exudes quality and opulence; Subtle Sheen, an elegant finish with a beautiful soft sheen which gently captures the light on interior walls; and Satin and Eggshell, two sheens ideal for use on wood and metal surfaces. Curator paint is environmentally friendly. It is water-based, low odor and suitable for every room in the house or for any decorating project.
