    [body] => Andrew Kubitschek has relocated from the East Coast to Minneapolis and will be responsible for Maroon Group's CASE Midwest accounts in Minnesota and Wisconsin, the company announced.

Before starting with Maroon, he completed an internship with Hydrite Chemical Co., where he assisted the company in entering a new market and is credited with helping bring on several new key customers in this area.

Huntsman Corporation's Polyurethanes Division recognized Maroon Group as its 2018 Distributor of the Year. This is the fourth consecutive year that Maroon Group's CASE & Plastics Eastern Region has achieved this prestigious award. The award was presented to Maroon Group's sales and operations staff in appreciation for Sales Growth and New Business Development.

Maroon Group LLC added Jacques Poincloux as a technical manager consultant for resins. 
 
Poincloux will serve as Maroon Group’s CASE & Plastics in-house subject matter expert in the realm of epoxy chemistry for coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers, construction, and composites. Additionally, he will provide technical support nationally for our CASE Account Managers, work directly with customers on providing formulation support for key projects, and serve as an extension of our principal partners’ technical support groups.

Maroon Group appointed Joel Crockett to the position of account manager. 
 
Located in Franklin, Tennessee, he will be responsible for CASE accounts in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.
 
For more than 20 years, Crockett served the CASE markets throughout the southeast, mainly with Henkel as an account manager, where he was responsible for cleaners and lubricants, adhesives, specialty coatings, and sealer markets. 
 
“Joel is a great addition to our team,” said Mike Maginnis, Maroon Group’s Southeast Regional sales manager. “He is a ‘highly seasoned’ salesman with a productive track record and we are looking forward to him growing the territory supporting our customers and principal suppliers.”

Ingevity announced the appointment of Maroon Group LLC as the exclusive U.S. distributor for its WestRez rosin ester product line.
 
Ingevity’s tackifier products have a broad compatibility with multiple polymers commonly used in rigid packaging, hygiene, tapes, labels and construction adhesives. 
 
Maroon Group is a supplier of specialty chemicals and ingredients to the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, & Elastomers (CASE), Plastics, Specialty Intermediates, HI&I, and personal care industries. Maroon Group’s CASE and technical sales and support team will promote these products.

Maroon Group LLC announced that it acquired Amsyn, LLC, a national distributor of specialty chemicals to the coatings, lubricants, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.  
 
Amsyn’s management team, led by president Thomas Castrovinci, will continue to actively manage the business on a day-to-day basis.

Ingevity announced the appointment of Maroon Group LLC as the exclusive U.S. distributor for its WestRez rosin ester product line.
 
Ingevity’s tackifier products have a broad compatibility with multiple polymers commonly used in rigid packaging, hygiene, tapes, labels and construction adhesives. 
 
Maroon Group is a supplier of specialty chemicals and ingredients to the Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, & Elastomers (CASE), Plastics, Specialty Intermediates, HI&I, and personal care industries. Maroon Group’s CASE and technical sales and support team will promote these products.

Maroon Group LLC announced that it acquired Amsyn, LLC, a national distributor of specialty chemicals to the coatings, lubricants, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and electronics industries.  
 
Amsyn’s management team, led by president Thomas Castrovinci, will continue to actively manage the business on a day-to-day basis. 
 
Established in 1989, Amsyn’s portfolio of specialty chemicals and intermediates is supplemented by its differentiated service offering.  Through custom synthesis and formulation services, consultative support, and global sourcing capabilities, the company is adapted to meet the full range of customers’ development, commercialization, and distribution needs.
