PSG is celebrating its 50th year in business. Established in 1970, PSG is a global supplier of coatings, chemicals, adhesives and composite materials to the aerospace and defense industry. The company was started by the Wood brothers from a single office in Godalming, Surrey, distributing industrial coatings in the south of England. In 1973 PSG moved to Haslemere and having gained Ministry of Defence approval began to focus on the aerospace and defense coatings markets. The ’80s and ’90s saw PSG successfully expand into Europe’s largest distributor of specialist coatings, offering a high level of service and technical support, supported by the world’s leading coatings manufacturers. In 2016 the company moved from its home in Haslemere to a purpose-built facility in Bordon, Hampshire, where it consolidated its offices, warehousing and production. In 2019 PSG was acquired by ADDEV Materials an international company employing more than 700 staff in 25 locations across the globe with its headquarters based in Lyon, France. ADDEV Materials Aerospace & Defence Group specializes in the custom packaging and distribution of chemicals, adhesives, tapes and technical films to the aerospace industry. Today PSG is a partner of choice of manufacturers such as PPG Aerospace, Sherwin-Williams, Mapaero, Henkel, ZipChem, 3M Aerospace, Gurit, Aeroform, Mader to mention a few. PSG’s broad product portfolio includes a comprehensive range of coatings, composite products, chemicals and associated materials with a truly global reach.
