Arc Re-Entry provides a set of resources to help facility managers and companies as they work to put together re-entry plans for their buildings and spaces.

Arc, an affiliate of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), has launched Arc Re-Entry in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The new offering provides a set of tools and analytics designed to assist companies with re-entering their buildings and facilities.
Arc is a technology platform that allows teams overseeing the sustainability of buildings and places to collect data, manage and benchmark progress, measure impact and improve performance. Arc empowers its users to understand and enhance their sustainability performance, promote human health and wellbeing and contribute to a higher quality of life.
Arc Re-Entry is a set of tools that can be used to document and benchmark infection-control policies and procedures, collect and analyze related occupant experiences and measure and track indoor air quality around factors such as carbon dioxide, relative humidity and particulate matter.
Facility managers can use Arc Re-Entry to add data and generate a performance score for their building or portfolio that provides a comparable measure of the breadth and documentation of facility management policies, occupant experience and measured indoor air quality.
Arc Re-Entry allows facility managers to evaluate the relationship between expectations for policies and procedures and occupants’ experience. It also helps identify opportunities to implement LEED’s Safety First Credits and the WELL Health-Safety Rating.
“With millions of people around the world unemployed and the global economy in distress, we must do everything we can to support economic recovery. We don’t have to choose between public health and a healthy economy. The future will require both to thrive. said Mahesh Ramanujam, president & CEO of USGBC and Arc. “This is why USGBC launched its Healthy People in Healthy Places Equals a Healthy Economy strategy and Arc is supporting that vision. Arc Re-Entry will help facility managers increase transparency around recovery efforts and leverage best practices like LEED Safety First Pilot Credits and WELL Health-Safety Rating to support a safe, confident workspace re-entry to demonstrate spaces are healthier for people.”
The Green Sports Alliance with its “Ready to Play” initiative is the first organization to put Arc Re-Entry into action.
The Green Sports Alliance is an environmentally-focused trade organization that convenes stakeholders from around the sporting world to promote healthy, sustainable communities where we live and play.
As sporting leagues, teams, and venues begin to reopen, the Alliance is using Arc Re-Entry to ensure that they do so in a way that maximizes the health and wellbeing of staff, crew, athletes and fans.
“Arc Re-Entry helps our members align with best practices from leading health and safety experts, and sets our industry up to build back better for a more sustainable future,” said Roger McClendon, executive director of Green Sports Alliance.
While each city, state and country’s reopening plans will look different, there is a universal commitment to creating the safest possible conditions for workplace occupants.
With Arc Re-Entry, buildings and facilities are equipped with the tools to compare their plans against the latest guidance, kickstart transparent conversations with occupants and prepare their communities for the next steps. Arc offers the first of those steps to help get buildings and communities moving forward safely.
