Inkmaker srl announced the acquisition of German company SWESA, which specializes in customized dosing-systems. The acquisition is Inkmaker’s third since 2019. Inkmaker srl in October 2019, acquired the businesses of Rexson Systems Limited and Vale-Tech Limited in the United Kingdom, and in January, purchased Tecnopails S.n.c in Italy. SWESA creates dosing systems such as the FLEXO and SMARTMaster. Additionally SWESA’s unique needleless valves, with their ability to achieve 100 percent ink circulation, have attracted a database of global customers from the food packaging, office furniture, tissues and heavy-duty corrugated packaging industries. “Over the past few years Inkmaker has managed to successfully increase its business in Germany. The growth realized necessitated the next step and the acquisition of SWESA is the logical outcome of it,” said Christophe Rizzo, CEO of the Inkmaker Group, EMEA and AMERICAS. “…[W]e will continue the production of SWESA units in Germany.” Roland Steinberg, managing director and owner of SWESA, will be part of the sales team. SWESA will continue its focus on niche dispensing systems for the food packaging, office furniture, tissues and heavy-duty corrugated packaging industries from its base in Eltville am Rhein, Germany and will continue to support its existing SWESA customers.
