PPG announced that it will be displaying its powder coatings for metal fabricators at FABTECH 2021 in Chicago, Illinois, Sept. 13-16.
Among the featured powder innovations will be PPG ENVIROCRON Extreme Protection Edge coating, PPG Envirocron High Transfer Efficiency (HTE) coating and PPG CORAFLON Platinum coating, which is a new world-class fluoropolymer powder coating for architectural extrusions and sheet aluminum. PPG also will showcase its expertise in color and corrosion protection with electro-coat (e-coat), pretreatment and liquid coatings solutions.
Representatives from PPG’s coatings services business will be on hand to answer questions about the company’s protective coatings application services and equipment design and installation capabilities.
Visitors to the PPG booth (D45132) can get a discount coupon for orders placed through the company’s new powder ecommerce site. By ordering through the site, customers can access an extensive library of more than 750 RAL, 200 Pantone and 70 Federal Standard colors. They also can place small batch orders for 5 pounds (2.3 kilograms) of stocked coatings and 25 pounds (11.3 kilograms) of made-to-order products.
Kathryn Shaffer, PPG global technology platform manager, will discuss extreme edge coverage and corrosion protection during the show’s “Advancements in Powder Coating Materials” technical workshop on Sept. 15 from 8–9:30 a.m.
“At this year’s FABTECH show, we are very excited to showcase both the products and the people that make PPG an industry leader,” said Kevin Braun, PPG vice president, global industrial coatings. “Our powder coatings combine beautiful finishes with exceptional protection performance and are backed by a leading team of coatings professionals.”
