Omya announces a price increase for its calcium carbonate products in the US and Canada. Effective Dec. 1, 2021, Omya Inc. and its affiliates will be increasing prices for all Calcium Carbonate products by 9%, or as customer contracts allow in the US and Canada. This price adjustment is a result of the extraordinary escalation of raw material, chemical, energy, packaging, services, quarry, and logistics costs, as well as general inflation. Omya will continue to invest in additional capacity and technology to meet our customers’ demand for innovation and profitable growth.
