Brenntag, a provider of chemicals and ingredients distribution, has for the first time achieved platinum status in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment, which is the highest possible rating awarded by the independent sustainability experts. Brenntag achieved a remarkable overall score of 75 points for the first time and thus ranks among the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis across industries. ESG Strategy for Sustainable Future Christian Kohlpaintner, CEO of Brenntag SE said, “Just last November, we announced our new company purpose where we outlined our ambition to foster a sustainable future and care for human needs. I am therefore all the more pleased that our recent accomplishments have also been recognized by highly respected sustainability rankings such as EcoVadis.” “This platinum status reflects our strong efforts we have undertaken in the area of sustainability to meet our responsibility as the world market leader in our industry.
