Concria develops new technology for concrete flooring.

USA supplier for specialty concrete, construction, industrial and manufacturing products Sika has acquired a 30% stake in Finnish startup company Concria Oy. Concria Oy specializes in concrete floors and has developed new technology for easier installation and polishing. Products include dry shake hardeners, grinders, and polishing tools. This acquisition expands Sika’s global network as well as expands its product portfolio to offer a wider range of additives to architects, contractors, and property owners. “With the acquisition of a stake in Concria we invest in an exciting, innovative technology for the flooring industry. Our global manufacturing footprint and sales force will facilitate production and marketing of the technology across the globe. At the same time, the rollout will promote additional sales of Sika products which are complementary to the Concria offering. We look forward to a successful collaboration with the Concria team,” said Ivo Schaedler, Sika head of construction.
