HMG Paints Expands Support for Agricultural, Machinery Market

Manchester, UK-based HMG Paints is further expanding its support for the UK agricultural and machinery market in 2024, with an expanded distributor network and product support.

The company has seen a growth in opportunities since Brexit and the pandemic, and this is evidenced by its paints and coatings appearing on many stands at the 2024 LAMMA show, including the Teagle Machinery Ltd stand.

Supply chain disruption with European products, caused by COVID, Brexit and ongoing supply issues across the globe has seen HMG partner up with a number of UK companies and supply products including primers, topcoats, DTM’s and tinted products with short lead times across the UK.

Companies looking inward for suppliers is highlighted in the fourth annual report into “Buying British,” with 66% of respondents saying they are starting to order more British made goods. Additionally, half of the country’s businesses (47%) and even more of the public (58%) saying they prefer to buy products that have been manufactured in the UK over alternatives imported from other countries, the 2023 Buying British Survey was conducted by Made in Britain and OnePoll.

The HMG Paints ColourBase Colour Box is an identification tool that presents more than 2400 color chips, displayed in chromatic order within 20 fan decks. The ColourBase Colour Box is a multi-function tool, in the sense that not only each color has a chromatic code that identifies its position in the colour sequence, but it also corresponds to a colour existing on the market for reference.

The colors in the box aren’t contained to just the one HMG System though they can be matched in a myriad of 1K and 2K products including C71 Speedline, a high quality ‘2 hour’ drying time Synthetic Alkyd Enamel, 1K DTM a high-quality single coat finish and CFB, new two-component, high solids polyurethane system.
