BASF’s Automotive Refinish division is showing up at NORTHEAST 2024 in a big way.

BASF’s Automotive Refinish division is showing up at NORTHEAST 2024 in a big way. The BASF booth is the hub for new products, thought leaders in the industry and a one-of-a-kind vehicle finished with R-M paint. IN THE BOOTH BASF is showcasing industry-leading products including Glasurit 100 Line waterborne paint, RMC1000 one-coat clear, and baslac 45. Attendees are encouraged to stop by the booth to see how BASF’s customers are transforming their businesses with greater speed and efficiency. The BASF booth will also feature “Bleu Bayou,” a 1969 Mustang from Goolsby Customs. This vehicle shows off the creativity and skill of the builder and the exceptional BASF finish. IN THE CLASSROOM BASF is proud to be a NORTHEAST Education Sponsor and share business-defining solutions with the industry. BASF Business Development Manager John Shoemaker will lead a session entitled “Being Elite in a Consolidated Market” at the show. In this course, Shoemaker will coach independent vehicle repair businesses on ways to optimize reimbursement for OEM-required operations and set themselves apart. “As shops become more specialized through OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) certifications, they are catching criticism from third-party payers who have a lack of understanding for the value of proper repairs,” said Shoemaker. “Independent collision centers maintaining OEM certifications should not operate under the same restrictions as a high-volume direct repair facility. There are higher costs involved, especially with luxury models, but with mass-market vehicles as well.” The BASF booth is #127 in the Meadowlands Exposition Center. The NORTHEAST 2024 show runs from March 15 – 17, 2024.
