Woodworking professionals from across North America and further afield will be converging in Atlanta this August to hear about the latest innovations, explore new color and finish trends, and have their questions answered by experts from AkzoNobel Wood Coatings and Chemcraft at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF).
Taking place between Aug. 6-9 at the Georgia World Congress Center, IWF is a key event for the global woodworking industry, offering a vast collection of processes, technologies, products, machines, and raw materials all in one location.
Throughout the event, specialists from AkzoNobel Wood Coatings and Chemcraft at booth C1562 will be sharing valuable insights, showcasing the latest coatings technologies, and discussing the color and design influences shaping the wood industry.
“Our business is built on listening to our customer’s needs and providing products that exceed them,” says Sarah Skinner, product marketing director WFA, AkzoNobel Wood Coatings. “Our team at booth #C1562 is looking forward to chatting to customers old and new, building relationships and presenting our latest product innovations.”
Selva Pro coatings combine Italian heritage to offer a choice of proven, high-performance clear and pigmented 2k polyurethane and acrylic systems that outshine related products and slot right into existing process lines.
The team will also be previewing ArmorLux LVT, the industry-first topcoat series with enhanced processing stability for long-run LVT flooring production, as well as the new NDuraSilk 1k waterborne coating system for OEM cabinet production, both from AkzoNobel Wood Coatings.
The NDuraSilk 1k WB system combines the high-performance of a 2k solvent borne coating with the benefits of a convenient 1k waterborne system, enabling manufacturers to reduce processing times and increase productivity. Similarly, the ArmorLux LVT series is designed to keep production lines running with a first-of-its-kind topcoat that delivers enhanced processing stability and a world-class finish, increasing efficiency while saving costs and resources.
Also, on the stand to answer visitors’ questions will be a team of experts from across AkzoNobel Wood Coatings and Chemcraft, including high precision spray, 1k waterborne coatings, Selva Pro systems and ArmorLux LVT.
“Our aim is to inspire our customers with exciting and innovative wood coatings that tap into the latest design trends and reflect the way we live today,” said Sarah Skinner, product marketing director WFA, AkzoNobel Wood Coatings. “Showing how we can help our customers with high quality, higher performance products that meet their needs and deliver a contemporary and personal aesthetic is a key part of the process.”
In addition, there will be live demonstrations of AkzoNobel’s MaestroHue software, which offers distributors a powerful system for producing consistent colors quickly and easily with the ultimate in color match accuracy.
