Benjamin Moore believes that everyone should feel empowered to bring their personal aesthetic to life in their home – even if that home is a rental. The company announced its initiative designed to encourage renters to leverage the power of paint to transform their spaces, while helping to ensure they get their security deposits back upon move-out. Throughout the month of August 2024, up to 10,000 renters in the U.S., Canada and UK that purchase a gallon of Benjamin Moore Regal Select Interior (in any of the brand’s 3,500+ colors) can use their receipt to redeem a complimentary gallon of Regal Select Interior in Ready-Mix White from July 15, 2025, to September 15, 2025. This ensures they’ll be ready to repaint the walls of their rental space before moving out, and still get their security deposit back. “Despite the desire for more personalized living spaces, renters often hesitate to paint due to concerns around returning the rental back to its original form at the end of the lease,” said Harriette Martins, senior vice president, Marketing at Benjamin Moore. “Using premium quality paints provides DIYers and professionals alike the confidence to transform any room – from the first color application through to restoring the space back to its traditional white walls.” With its scuff resistance and smooth finish, Regal Select Interior has been trusted for generations as the standard for excellence. It is ideal for use in high-traffic areas of the home such as living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and hallways. Regal Select features a proprietary stain release technology and delivers excellent durability and washability in any finish. It is available in five different sheens and can be tinted in 3,500+ Benjamin Moore colors, offering countless options to bring any design style to life. “Benjamin Moore understands the importance of individuals feeling at home in their rental units without the fear of risking their security deposits,” said Michelle Griffith, Douglas Elliman agent. “I’m thrilled to introduce this initiative to my community of renters, emphasizing how Benjamin Moore enables you to confidently redesign your living space – from blank canvases to stunning expressions of personal style, and back again.”
