WEG was granted the Broadcast Empresas Award 2024, organized by Agência Estado in partnership with the São Paulo School of Economics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EESP).
The company ranked first among more than 200 companies with shares traded on B3, which generated the best performance for shareholders. In addition, WEG was also awarded in the special categories of “Sustainability” and “Novo Mercado.”
The ranking, now in its 24th edition, reflects a set of seven indicators widely used by investors and financial market professionals: return on equity variation; dividend payout relative to equity; price-to-earnings ratio (P/E); price-to-book value ratio (P/BV); stock price fluctuation; stock volatility; and liquidity. Each company is represented by its most liquid share (ON or PN).
WEG has distinguished itself as one of the most valuable and admired companies in the capital market. Recently, WEG reached the fourth position in market value among companies listed on the Brazilian Stock Exchange, B3.
“I thank Agência Estado for this recognition and dedicate this achievement to our more than 45,000 employees, whose tireless dedication has been crucial in achieving exceptional results” said André Menegueti Salgueiro, finance and investor relations officer.
