Weekly Recap: Sherwin-Williams and BASF, Pittsburgh Paints Top This Week’s Stories

Here is Coatings World’s weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ending Feb. 21, 2025.

There was lots of important news this week, with the word that Sherwin-Williams acquired BASF’s decorative paint business in Brazil the most read, followed by Pittsburgh Paints Co. naming Brian Carson as its new CEO the second most read story. Lorama adding Monteith and Waterfoot from DCL Corporation was third, with Jotun’s 2024 financial results in fourth and contributing editor Dave Savastano’s feature on Mankiewicz’s colors of the year rounding out the top five.
