Valspar announced several new exterior and interior products that help with the finishing details of projects on wood and metal surfaces.
Valspar Door & Trim Acrylic Enamel, Valspar Direct-to-Metal Acrylic Paint and Valspar Oil-Based Enamel are now available at Lowe’s stores nationwide and online at Lowes.com. Valspar Quick Seal Exterior Oil-Based Stain is available at select Lowe’s stores and on Lowes.com. Select products from this list are also available at local, independent retailers across the US.

• Valspar Quick Seal Exterior Oil-Based Stain is the newest exterior wood stain from Valspar. The oil-based exterior stain is easy to apply and maintain, and it resists cracking, chipping and peeling on vertical and other wood surfaces. This semi-transparent stain is formulated to prevent runs, laps and streaks for fast, easy application and maintenance on exterior wood surfaces. Valspar Quick Seal can be sprayed or brushed, provides a mildew-resistant finish and is available in Pecan, Dark Walnut and Natural Cedar colors in gallon and 5-gallon sizes.
• Valspar Door & Trim Acrylic Enamel is an interior acrylic enamel featuring Swift Dry TechnologyTM that provides fast drying with a smooth finish. Valspar Door & Trim dries to the touch in one hour but should be given two hours’ dry time before recoating. The non-blocking formula prevents windows and doors from sticking to the framework in just two hours. Drying time is temperature and humidity dependent. At 50°-90° Fahrenheit and 50% relative humidity Valspar Door & Trim paint has easy application and cleanup with a durable finish that resists cracking, peeling and blistering. The paint offers excellent stain resistance and provides a mold- and mildew-resistant finish. It is available in a semi-gloss sheen in quart and gallon sizes.
• Valspar Direct-to-Metal Acrylic Paint features a formula that adheres directly to iron, steel, aluminum and other metals, offering lasting corrosion and rust resistance and exceptional gloss and color retention. The product dries in 45 minutes and is ideal for railings, fences, doors, furniture and more. It is available in eggshell and semi-gloss sheens and gallon and 5-gallon sizes.
• Valspar Oil-Based Enamel is an interior and exterior alkyd paint ideal for providing doors and trim with a hard, durable finish. The product is easy to apply and can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on, has excellent flow and leveling that leads to a hard, durable finish and offers great stain resistance. The product is available in a semi-gloss sheen in quart and gallon sizes.
