Hempel’s recently released e-commerce portal enables customers to do their transactions with the global coatings supplier online.
Most of us buy goods online in our private lives. We browse products, place orders, track shipments and pay invoices from our computer or mobile device. It would make sense if we could do the same when buying coatings. The My Hempel web portal enables Hempel customers to do just that.
Released in June 2016, the My Hempel web portal contains information tailored specifically to the user – from details of orders and invoices to tailored prices and stock planning statistics – all in one place.
Wojciech Poludniewski, Digital Business Director at Hempel, comments: “We were aware that customers are used to choosing and buying goods online and felt there was a need for something similar when it came to coatings. My Hempel is very easy to use and makes our customers work much more efficient, so we expect them to welcome it.”
As well as placing and tracking orders, My Hempel also contains all relevant documentation, such as product data sheets, safety data sheets and batch certificates, as well as reports and statistics to enable more effective stock planning. There is also an additional feature, called Marketing Hub, where customers can access marketing materials, reference stories, product information, logo files (for distributors only) and more.
My Hempel is free of charge and available 24/7 in 25 languages.
