Arkema: CRAYVALLAC LV is a third-generation polyamide rheology modifier with easy activation and high performance in solvent free systems. It is designed for use in Solvent free epoxy and polyurethane coatings for marine, protective and general industrial applications, as well as industrial wood coatings. It exhibits easier activation and higher performance when compared to previous generation polyamide rheology modifiers. Formulation benefits include excellent sag resistance and very good shear thinning for spray application of coating. CRAYVALLAC OPTIMA is a third-generation polyamide rheology modifier with wider activation window in high solids epoxies. It is primarily used in hot spray applications in marine, protective and general industrial applications where good sag during application or onto hot substrates is needed. It exhibits a wider activation window than second generation polyamide rheology modifiers, good hot spray application tolerance, excellent intercoat adhesion resistance and high sag resistance. keim: SILCO OZ 100 retards water within the film and is an open time extender for paints and coatings. The product provides additionally gloss enhancement as well as wetting properties without effecting the stain resistance or hardness of the film. mju:wax 9200 – micronized wax modified FT-wax compound for solvent based coatings. Provides; outstanding metal marking resistance, excellent slip properties, very good anti-blocking properties and scratch resistance Micro Powders: Composite waxes play an important part in both industrial and architectural coatings for surface protection, and the addition ultrafine hard particles takes that performance to a new level. Superslip 6515AL is composite of HDPE/amide/nanoalumina that maximizes scratch resistance and lubricity. PolyGlide 1226XF is a highly engineered HDPE/ceramic composite for maximum abrasion resistance and lubricity. Both waxes are ideal for high gloss coatings and to replace PTFE. For a natural approach to surface protection and gloss reduction, NatureFine R331 and NatureFine H325 are finely micronized biodegradable waxes that impart lubricity and abrasion resistance, and are ideal for high natural content coatings. NatureMatte 31 is a highly biodegradable PHBV powder that can improve burnish resistance in satin and matte architectural coatings. Pilot Chemical: Calfax and Calimulse emulsifiers can be used to make emulsion polymers with higher performance, better durability, and improved stability. This results in a more durable coating for the end-use customer by enhancing the coating resin. Calimulse products are produced using Pilot Chemical’s proprietary sulfonation processes ensuring consistency, uniformity and high purity, which makes it an excelled emulsifier for use in a long list of industrial products, including promoting latex emulsification, improving pigment dispersion, and spreading qualities in latex paints. Pilot Chemical’s Calfax products are diphenyl oxide disulfonate anionic surfactants with a high charge density and superior stability. Latex and rubber emulsion polymerization applications are some of the uses for Calfax products. This line offers both biodegradable linear and super stable branched products. They are APEO-free, VOC-free, and free of halogenated solvents. In addition to the listed products, Pilot can custom manufacture Calfax products to meet your specifications. Shamrock Technologies: AquaFLON 50-RC: easy-to-disperse pre-wet submicron PTFE powders that offers superior slip with minimal impact on gloss for thin film OPVs and UV systems, which meets stringent REACH Compliance standards FS731MG-RC: Preferred formulated blend of PTFE and waxes designed for optimum balance of slip and abrasion resistance in metal and paper packaging coatings, with ability to withstand processing temperatures from ambient to high temperature curing conditions. Also meeting REACH Compliance standards. SST-25-RC: Our newest larger sized RC-PTFE micropowder developed to impart texturing, water repellency as well as abrasion resistance in metal and architectural coatings.
