Liquid Nails brand has announced the launch of Extreme Landscape Block, Stone and Timber Adhesive (LN-906). The new product bonds all stone, block and timber into one super-strong structure. It is also ideal for repairs to loose stone, brick or block, and is perfect for use on garden and retaining walls, capstones, planters, walkways and steps. “Especially when working in landscaping, professionals can’t afford downtime in inclement weather conditions,” said Mark Hembree, senior brand manager, Liquid Nails brand. “Many times, these projects are being completed during spring and fall months, when landscape blocks are wet and cold.” Similar to the traditional Landscape Block formula, Liquid Nails Extreme Landscape Block, Stone and Timber Adhesive is a latex-based construction adhesive designed to provide long-lasting adhesion on a wide range of applications. Extreme Landscape Block is certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Environment to the GREENGUARD Gold standard as a low-emitting material, making it ideal for use indoors as well as outdoors. It will help builders qualify projects for certification under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED green building programs, including LEED v.4 certification. Additionally, Extreme Landscape Block, Stone and Timber Adhesive is packaged in a plastic tube for outdoor storage. For professionals who often store their materials in an exposed truck, this can save time and worry compared to traditional adhesives. “Liquid Nails Extreme Landscape Block was created in response to the needs of our customers. We’re continuously working to make products that allow customers to be more efficient on the job site,” Hembree said. Liquid Nails Extreme Landscape Block, Stone and Timber complements the recently-launched Extreme Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive, as part of a growing line of extreme products by the Liquid Nails brand. Liquid Nails extreme products are enhanced versions of already-popular formulas. The new products perform in extreme conditions, bonding in temperatures from 22 F to 120 F and to wet and frozen materials. These product features enable professional contractors and do-it-yourselfers (DIYers) to work in extreme heat or cold and get jobs done regardless of the weather. Liquid Nails brand is a brand of PPG Architectural Coatings, a business unit of PPG Industries, the world’s leading coatings and specialty materials company.
