Altex Coatings has announced the appointment of Wynand Kruger to its newly created Technical Manager position. According to Managing Director Mike O’Sullivan, the appointment will further streamline and improve the high-end technical services upon which Altex Coatings has built its class-leading reputation. Wynand will lead the Altex technical team, while also bringing focus and coordination to Altex Coatings’ technical services and R&D functions. Through this new position, the company aims to achieve enhanced levels of technical support to meet growing customer demand. Drawing from its over 60 years of experience, Altex Coatings has several new ventures in the pipeline to compliment their traditional industrial and marine coatings business. Wynand and his technical team will drive these programs, providing key sales team support across all business segments. Wynand has 25 years of overseas experience in environmental engineering, project management and process engineering within the petrol chemical industry, and holds a chemical engineering degree and a B.Com in Marketing and Economics. He brings a wealth of personal experience and knowledge to this new position and to the New Zealand Protective Coatings industry.
