Maroon Group, a world-class supplier of specialty additives, resins, pigments, and packaging, continues to expand its U.S. reach with the addition of John W. Lovell as its newest Midwest Account Manger to cover northern Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas City.

With more than 16 years working in the chemical distribution arena at Brandt Technologies, John has gained extensive knowledge in paint & coatings, plastics, and the graphic arts industries, as well as specialty markets such as color dispersions and Bio Ag.  Before joining technical sales, John spent six years as a R&D paint chemist at Seymour of Sycamore.  John helped develop a number of new coatings, including assisting in Seymour’s first universal tint base for water borne aerosols in a pre-charged can.  John was awarded three patents during his time at Seymour.
