Sika Global Automotive Completes Plant Expansion in Grandview, MO

Sika Global Automotive announces completion and opening of a 40,000 square foot expansion project at its Grandview, Missouri manufacturing facility. Additional space will allow more efficient supply base and logistic operations as well as enable the further addition of new technologies that will add to the supply base at the facility.

The expansion includes sustainability additions including motion controlled lighting and stable, climate controlled environments for material handling. A wire-guided pick and place system and associated equipment has been added for more efficient material management, and to take advantage of the smaller space requirements required introducing maximum density space utilization.
