Omya announced a new distribution agreement with ChemiK Co., Ltd.
Starting April 1, 2018, Omya will represent ChemiK as a national distributor of its full line of synthetic iron oxide pigments in the coatings, plastics and construction markets throughout the U.S. and Canada.
ChemiK - Zhejiang Huayuan Pigment Corporation is the second largest global producer of synthetic iron oxide pigments. The company has a full range of micronized and non-micronized iron oxides as well as high purity pigment grades for food packaging and consumer goods.
ChemiK - Zhejiang Huayuan Pigment Corporation operates two ISO certified plants in the Zhejiang Province of China. All of the ChemiK products are REACH registered.
“The ChemiK iron oxide pigments fill a void in our product portfolio and will be a welcome addition to meet our customers’ requirements”, said David Roth, director of Omya Distribution Services North America.
