Jotun Powder Coatings Increases Prices on All Products

Significant and continuous raw material cost increases throughout 2017 and early 2018 has led to a price increase in all Jotun Powder Coatings products – effective immediately – VP Ram Ramnath said. 

Per Ramnath, the necessary increase will be up to 20 percent, depending on the specific compositions of the products.

The significant increases last year in titanium, polyester and epoxies, and the sharp increase in epoxies again and pigments during this first quarter of 2018 “has left Jotun Powder Coatings with no other options than to increase its prices accordingly”, according to Ramnath.

“This is, of course, a difficult period for the entire industry,” Ramnath said. “We highly value our long-term relationship with our customers and believe we have a common understanding on the necessity to increase our prices in order to continue supplying the level of product quality and service that our customers have come to expect from us.  We will continue to move forward with the aim of providing our customers the best products and solutions we can to help their business grow.”
