Specialty Polymers, Inc. announced a new partnership with Kathion Chemie de Mexico, a specialty chemical distributor with more than 15 years of experience in the Latin American coatings market. Based in Nuevo León, Kathion Chemie de Mexico distributes specialty chemicals and raw materials in the coatings, ink, construction, cosmetic, personal care and agrochemical industries throughout Mexico. “Kathion Chemie de Mexico has a strong reputation among coatings manufacturers in the Latin American market, and the expansion of Kathion’s product line to include waterborne resins will be an enormous benefit to their customers,” said Jorge Seuc, Specialty Polymer’s regional sales manager. The new partnership will enable the numerous paint, coatings and adhesive manufacturers based in Mexico to have access to the innovative and high-quality latex emulsions and adhesives that Specialty Polymers is known for in the U.S. and Canada.
