BRB completed REACh registration for the targeted group of its Silanilrange of silane.

REACh, which stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals, requires chemical companies operating in the European Union to provide proof that the supplied products are safe for human health and the environment. Companies in EU were required to comply with this regulation by May 31, 2018, as failure will impose risk on exclusion from the market and restrictions on production.

The range of BRB silane includes Amino, Epoxy, Vinyl, Methacryloxy and Mercapto, Oxime, Acetoxy, Alkyl, and Alkoxysilane. These silanes find uses in crosslinked polyolefins, treated mineral fillers/glass fibers, fiber-reinforced unsaturated polyester, phenolic for foundry molds, epoxy molding compounds, mineral wool for insulation, artificial marble, paints and coatings, sealants and adhesives, peroxide-cured rubber compounds, sulfur-cured rubber compounds and Ziegler-Natta catalyst.
