Axalta Receives Tell Award for Outstanding Contributions in Basel, Switzerland

Axalta was awarded the 14^th annual Tell Award – named after William Tell – for its substantial and innovative investments in Basel, Switzerland.
 
Switzerland’s Acting Consul General Giorgio Pompilio presented the award to Axalta’s VP of Corporate Affairs Robert Ferris at an Oct. 11 ceremony in New York.
 
On July 1, 2016, Axalta opened its headquarters for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region in Basel, with the aim to place the EMEA headquarters in a central location that truly reflects the regional and international direction of the company.
 
“Being in the heart of Basel provides us with direct access to a terrific local talent pool in our industry and helps us to attract international experts for each of our businesses,” Ferris said. “At Axalta, we continuously develop our leadership and business management practices, and the Basel headquarters sits squarely at the center of that.
