Effective as of March 2020, Luiz Cornacchioni is the executive president at the Brazilian Coatings Manufacturers Association (ABRAFATI). He succeeds Antonio Carlos de Oliveira, who had held the office since 2017. Cornacchioni has considerable experience in industry associations, having served as CEO at the Brazilian Agribusiness Association (ABAG) and the Brazilian Association of Planted Forest Producers (ABRAF). He was also a co-facilitator for the Coalizão Brasil Clima, Florestas e Agricultura. He worked for 27 years in the pulp and paper, planted forest and sugar and ethanol industries, having held executive positions at Suzano Papel e Celulose and Terracal Alimentos e Bioenergia.
