Panel will discuss ‘The Future of Coatings, Where Do We Go From Here.’

The Eastern Coatings Federation has announced the topic of its panel discussion will be “The Future of Coatings, Where Do We Go from Here,” to be held on May 17 at the Eastern Coatings Show, the largest coatings show on the East Coast. Registration for the Eastern Coatings Show 2023 is now open. Four experts, each with extensive experience in the coatings industry, including technical, marketing, consulting, and new materials, will provide insights on trends, developments, and forecasts for the future of the coatings industry. The panelists include: Raymond Fernando, Ph.D, Chair, Coatings Technology and Ecology of California Polytechnic; Dean Webster, North Dakota State University Department of Coatings and Polymer Materials; George Pilcher, VP, The ChemQuest Group; and Amanda Andrews, account manager, Michelman. “These experts bring extensive experience in the coatings industry and are known for their work pioneering next generation raw materials and chemistries, which we can expect will be the materials we will be using in the near future,“ said Dave White, ECS board member. “It will be exciting to hear the discussion with panelists of this caliber on topics so relevant to our industry. This will have an impact on raw material suppliers and coatings manufacturers for the next 10-20 years.“ The panel discussion will take place on Wednesday, May 17th from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The Eastern Coatings Show will be held at Harrah’s Resort, Atlantic City, NJ, May 16 -18, 2023.
