Induron Protective Coatings has promoted Chase Murphy to Technical Director, following the retirement of long-time industry leader, Jeff Lackey. Murphy, who has been an integral part of the Induron research and development team for the past year, will assume his new role effective immediately. Chase Murphy joined Induron as a Lead Chemist and quickly established himself as a key contributor to the company’s innovation and product development efforts. His expertise in protective coatings, combined with his leadership abilities, has played a crucial role in the advancement of Induron’s product line, ensuring the company’s continued commitment to delivering high-performance solutions to the marketplace. Murphy will succeed Jeff Lackey, who has been with Induron for the past four years. Lackey’s retirement marks the end of an era at Induron, where he has been a driving force behind many of the company’s most successful projects and innovations. In his new role as Technical Director, Chase Murphy will manage the company’s technical operations, including the research and development team and all the chemical aspects of Induron products. He will also oversee the approval of any new raw material to be utilized in Induron’s process while developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and suppliers. Lastly, Murphy is responsible for all environmental and regulatory testing and reporting.
