At the European Coatings Show (ECS), which will take place from March 25-27, 2025 in Nuremberg, numerous technical lectures by additive experts from BYK will show how specialty chemicals contribute to sustainability in all areas: Wax additives and even more environmentally friendly defoamers for liquid and powder coatings as well as construction applications help to achieve ecological goals.

Added to this, the latest solutions for PFAS-free systems with even more sustainable additives demonstrate the fact that the coating, printing, plastics, and other industries can switch to PFAS-free developments without any loss of performance.

But the series of lectures will also cover fully automated application testing of the latest additives for demand-driven product development through shortened development cycles. This is where the unique digital laboratory – BYK’s high- throughput screening (HTS) facility, which can efficiently test up to 220 samples in just 24 hours – brings its prowess to bear. This enables customized, innovative, and sustainable products to be brought to market much faster.

These presentations offer insights into current trends and product developments as well as the opportunity to talk directly to the developers. Here are a few of the highlights in the wide-ranging program:
