MIPA SE has taken over the industrial coatings division of HAERING GmbH from Unterheinriet (near Heilbronn) with retroactive effect from Jan. 1, 2024. Production of the acquired products will be relocated to Mipa Group sites during the first quarter and customer support will be gradually taken over by MIPA SE. The HAERING GmbH sites and the HAERING brand and its product names are not part of the takeover. HAERING GmbH is a medium-sized family business with a long tradition: HAERING was founded in 1886 and is now managed by the fourth generation. In addition to the industrial coatings sector, HAERING specializes in the production and sale of architectural paints and plasters. These areas also form the core segment on which the company intends to concentrate in the future. The product range acquired from MIPA SE will focus on general industrial coatings and niche products for special applications. Two foreign subsidiaries are also part of the takeover: HAERING Polska sp.zo.o near Bydgoszcz, Poland and HAERING s.r.o. in Brno, Czech Republic primarily sell industrial coatings and are therefore a logical part of the acquired sales package.
