PPG will feature products that cover every step of the wood finishing process, including basecoats, primers, fillers, stains, sealers and topcoats.
“PPG has been making wood coatings for more than a century, and our broad product range is enhanced by our technical expertise,” Justin Epler, PPG coil and building products director, industrial coatings. “Visitors to the PPG booth will discover how we translate that knowledge and experience into wood coating products and technologies that are trusted by leading manufacturers in the flooring, cabinetry, molding, millwork and door industries.”
PPG will have a color stylist on-site to discuss emerging color trends, as well as a team of experts highlighting the capabilities of PPG’s dedicated wood coating research and development lab in Springdale, Pennsylvania. This state-of-the-art facility enables PPG customers to stay on the leading edge of color and design trends in the wood coatings industry while receiving a continuous stream of productivity solutions, eco-forward technologies and coatings innovations across multiple industry segments.
Products on display at the PPG booth will include:
- PPG RAYCRON ultraviolet (UV)-curable coatings, which are water- and solvent-free based on 100 percent solids formulations. These coatings require less energy for curing compared to coatings finished in hot air ovens and produce virtually no air or water pollution;
- PPG CLARITAGE and PPG ENVIRON stains, which are two long-standing PPG product families that have a history of proven performance over millwork, flooring, architectural and cabinetry components.
TISE comprises three world-class trade shows – SURFACES, StonExpo/Marmomac and TileExpo – making it the largest North American event covering the floor covering, stone and tile industries.
