Indigo operates five manufacturing facilities, with two located in both Jodhpur (state of Rajasthan) and Pudukkottai (state of Tamil Nadu) and one in Kochi (state of Kerala). Jalan noted that the company is adding two new plants in Jodhpur – a water-based paint unit and a solvent-based paint facility.

“Recognizing the growth potential in adjacent segments, we are expanding our footprint beyond the decorative paint market,” said Hemant Jalan, Indigo Paints’ chairman and managing director, in announcing the annual results. “Our foray into construction chemicals and waterproofing solutions presents a significant opportunity to diversify our revenue streams.”
