Mäder Group has a global distribution network in 70 countries worldwide. The company has 650 employees.

“In 2024, the economic environment was challenging, but we maintained its strategic momentum and turned market uncertainties into opportunities,” Mäder Group CEO Julien Molina said. “We strengthened our position through the continued rollout of our Ë-Volve strategic plan, focused on innovation, sustainability, and international growth.

“One of the year’s key milestones was obtaining the EcoVadis Gold certification, recognizing our strong commitment to CSR and responsible business practices. We have already requested a re-evaluation of our score and taken concrete actions to further improve our performance.

“At the same time, our R&D teams accelerated the development of high-performance, sustainable coatings and composites, providing customers with solutions that reduce both energy consumption and environmental impact across the entire product lifecycle,” Molina added. “We also continued to reinforce our presence in strategic sectors such as mobility and energy, where our leadership reflects both technical expertise and alignment with decarbonization goals. A customer satisfaction survey further confirmed our key strengths: service quality, technical support, and product excellence, reinforcing the value of our customer-focused approach.”

“In 2024, the economic environment remained complex and demanding,” Molina added. “In the industrial markets where we operate, we experienced project delays and reduced activity levels, which affected several of our business areas. At the same time, the competitive landscape in the industrial coatings sector is undergoing significant transformation. While market consolidation is becoming increasingly evident, we see this evolution not as a threat, but as an opportunity to strengthen our position.”

Mäder Group CEO Julien Molina said that 2023 was once again a complex year for industrial paint markets.

“Like other industries, it was impacted by the economic and geopolitical situation,” Molina observed. “The scarcity of raw materials and their inherent price hikes, unprecedented rises in energy costs and interest rates, and inflation in general have weighed on our businesses.

“Nevertheless, against this difficult backdrop, our performance was positive compared with previous years, and we were able to win market share, especially in our core businesses and strategic segments thanks to the commitment of our teams and a stronger sales drive,” Molina added.

“Moreover, 2023 once again demonstrated the urgent need to transform our business model, a transformation to which the Mäder Group has been resolutely committed for several years, in particular, focusing our innovation forces on measuring and improving our impacts on health and environment through solutions geared to the constant search for efficiency and decarbonization,” Molina concluded. “These major concerns have always been part of our DNA, but today we sense a clear acceleration in the markets’ desire to be part of a more reasonable and sustainable industry.”
