AGC FluoroCompounds Group now offers Fluon Melt Processable Compounds. Custom melt processable fluoropolymer compounds have become important materials for parts and components used in automotive, industrial, aerospace, transit and appliance applications.
Fluon Melt Processable Compounds are based on copolymer resins FEP, ETFE, PFA, PVDF, MFA or ECTFE, which already exhibit the high-performance characteristics of fluoropolymers and impart physical toughness and high resistance to heat and chemicals. Compounding with fillers, pigments and other additives enhances the functionality and characteristics of these resins to make them better suited for challenging applications including wire and cable; semiconductor and electronic components; valves, fittings and pump housings; tubing and pipe; and specialty films.
AGC FluoroCompounds Group offers eight different types of melt processable compounds: color concentrates; foam concentrates; cross-linkable compounds; conductive/anti-static compounds; reinforced compounds; lubricated compounds; flexible AR compounds; adhesive-grade compounds. Products are RoHS and REACH compliant and free of cadmium, hexavalent chromium and lead.
