Grace will focus its efforts and resources at CHINACOAT to help solve customers’ issues that they face today and to explore what’s coming next. “The cornerstone of this strategy is to listen to our customers,” said James Bowler, global marketing manager, EM Coatings at Grace. “We’re always anxious to understand to what our customers are experiencing and to hear what our customers’ customers are looking for. Then we can better help them improve the performance of their products and help them become differentiated in the market. Our goal is to help our customers be successful.”
This year, Grace will be showcasing eco-friendly initiatives and helping customers improve their UV and waterborne products. “This is an area Grace has been working on for many years, investing significant resources of R&D, Technical Service and Marketing to develop next-generation products,” said Mr. Bowler. “This is reflected in the introduction of our SYLOID A-series for architectural coatings; SYLOID RAD 3007 for UV coatings; and soon-to-launch SYLOID AQ, a unique new series for waterborne wood coatings. In addition, we are continuing development of the next generation of anti-corrosive pigment technology which can replace chrome without impacting performance.”
Grace additives enhance a wide range of coating products, including wood, coil, automotive and architectural coatings.
